Recording of new album is finished!

Recording of my new full-length album is finished! The album is titled You’re Just A Place That I Know, and tracks the story of my Ukrainian grandparents, surviving World War 2, meeting in a displaced persons camp and emigrating to Montreal to start a new life together. Plenty more on this to come over the next few months as we approach the release, but for now, check out this little montage from the recording process.

I was so fortunate to work with so many talented Vancouver artists, on everything from good ol’ drums n bass to Ukrainian folk instruments like bandura and lira (hurdy-gurdy), plus violin, Hammond organ and even a youth choir! And produced by the wizard, Tom Dobrzanski. Release news and everything else to come soon!
